Ngayong Marso, 2014, isang event-for-a-cause ang gaganapin sa ilang piling SM Cinemas. Posibleng ang event na ito ay maging tulay para matulungan atin ang tinatayang 75 Pinoy na namamatay araw-araw dahil sa isang uri ng sakit. Baka nga ang event na ito ay makatulong upang ang ikaw at ang iyong mga minamahal sa buhay, kapamilya, kapuso, kaibigan, kasamahan sa trabaho ay mailigtas mula sa pagkakaroon ng isang nakahahawang sakit na kayang manghawa ng sampung tao mula sa isang may ganitong karamdaman. Ang event na ito ay para sa paglaban sa tuberculosis o TB.

So far, very positive ang reactions ng mga agencies, civic organizations, federations, and the few barangays where we have presented the movie for free.

We had a meeting earlier sa DZXL. Very approachable yung mga announcer. I am just expecting around 5:00 Minutes airtime kasi alam ko namang marami silang ibabalita at syempre mahal yun' but when they heard our advocacy, they got interested to it. They also showed interest to be our partner in our next movie. I am very positive that its gonna work out. Seems like they were also surprised when Direk Cris told them that we are in-partnership with DOH. They specifically asked if we got support from the government. 

The whole interview was awesome. It was smooth interview (no dead-air). What do you expect from respected announcers that they been doing it for a longest time and a Director like Cris Pablo, fabulous.

FLYING KISS is a comedy-drama advocacy movie initiated by Sinehan Advocacy Media Projects Inc. (SAMPI), together with the Department of Health (DOH) National TB Program and National Center for Health Promotion, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) through the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.

75 Filipinos die of tuberculosis a day. Kailan ko lang din nalaman na matagal pala mabuhay ang bacteria. At isang tao ay kayang hawaan ang sampu. At hindi natin malalaman na meron na tayo kung hindi magpapa-sputum exam. And it can be cured. But you must know exactly what to do.
